Dear list,

I'm currently working on introducing Japanese interface to JabRef, and
on the way I noticed two things:

    1) "General", "Abstract" and "Review" tabs in the entry editor are
not translated
    2) The word "General" which appears in the above tab and the same
one in Preference need to be translated to different words to make
sense in Japanese.

Since the remedy of these was only a small hack, I committed the fix
in my recent commit to svn, but if it causes a problem, please notice
me about it.

Especially, to resolve 2), I divided the keyword "General" into
"General" and "General[CUSTOM_TAB]" and related the latter to the word
"General" in property files in all other languages than Japanese. Is
there a better way of naming rule or a solution? Since "[CUSTOM_TAB]"
should not be translated, maybe I'd better write a warning somewhere
for future translators.

For 1), I moved the position of Globals.lang() function call from
jabref/src/java/net/sf/jabref/JabRefPreferences.java (where defaults
are defined) to jabref/src/java/net/sf/jabref/EntryEditor.java (where
strings are called).

Best regards,

Koji Yokota
