Ok - I just made a project in sandbox
jakarta-commons-sandbox/configuration
there is a build.xml (ant dist should do it for you...)
Will get the testcase wired up tomorrow.
Take a look - If a 'formal proposal' is required, fine. But you can
consider this a request for votes to make this a commons component -
this is a class that is useful and would be shared immediately by
Velocity and Turbine.
1) Initial committers will be Jason, myself and we will find a third
from Turbine.
2) This will have active support because it is central to Velocity and
Turbine internal configuration.
3) It's trivially small.
4) We have a test case already in Velocity, and will get that working
tomorrow in Commons.
So +1 from me :)
