after thinking about it, I see that it will be somewhat akward to merge it
in replace and property
If we change it so that we use replace and property, then it means we must
do a reflection call to the Xalan XPath API, otherwise, we will force the
user to have xalan in his path to use property/replace. Kind of weird.

Aphids are very injurious to vegetation. :)
