My opinion is not going to make me any friends, but, I am not comfortable with this. Again, I don't think there is any reason what so ever, that his command codes can't be used. As I've said before, they have been published since 1996. I plan on making a small library of the cmd codes myself. What I don't like is mimicking his K107 chip. I understand you want to develop this so someone can save the $10-$20 or so to build a PCB and his chip. To me this feels wrong. If he had 'published' his code I would not feel that way but he hasn't so I looks to me like Theft of Intellectual Property. Taking advantage of his published work to clone his protected work. Please feel free to write and ask for his permission. I do not want anything to do with it. I do not see how this fit into jallib, anyway?
