Not a bad idea, maybe a subdirectory 'advanced' of 'sample'?
But I don't think we should do that for the planned new release.
When samples have to be moved to the advanced directory we need also
criteria! So in fact your suggestion is pushing the problem forward.....
I have quickly browsed some of the current samples and think quite a few
would qualify as 'advanced'. Some are in my view even more advanced than
my alarm_clock! So for this release I'm considering to move the
alarm-clock program from project to samples.
