Hi Seb, To fit a zif socket, I solder it on a socket (quality socket, round pins - the same as I use on my boards). Does make it higher though. An alternative would be to create a shield in stead of fitting it into the cpu socket. You can use this headers: http://www.freeduino.eu/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_21&products_id=76 you can put an other shield on top.
