But... existing are SVN hooks: you can plug a user-defined scripts, which get executed *before* a file is committed. I've never used them, and I can remember I have searched for this on Google Code SVN in the early days of jallib, and noticed it wasn't enabled (it's on server side). Maybe it's allowed now.
