I needed this for a project at school where we need to make a Java program. And what's more interesting than combining that with one/more microcontrollers! An arduino was already 'working' in this setup, and the pic did work instantly with the test program. The firmware does an echo of the incoming byte and sends it back. Thanks for the help!
