Hello all Would some kind person tell me what has happened to JAL?
about 4 years ago I discovered pic micro-controllers and I chose JAL as it was free and seemed quite interesting. I downloaded all the software and bought the manual and starter kit from voti. and the xwisp programmer. I got a few tutorial projects into the book, when a move of house and family commitments put my new hobby on hold for a while ( well until now really) I got a new computer and downloaded JAL hoping to pick up where i left off, but everything has changed! I now see in the examples lots of new code that i have no idea what it does other than its to do with crystal speed. and my programmer does not seem to work any more. The tutorial pdf which explains the setup procedure does not correspond to what i have on my computer. Basicly i cant get anything to work and im quite lost. I am running win7 on 64bit I hope someone will take the time to guide me through all the new changes, what they mean and how to get started again.
