It seems those errors suggest that the identified email server or email
account cannot be located. You should expect this: people will type in
invalid email addresses and domains. I will admit that it is weird that
'exceptions' are thrown in such cases - but that may be the only way to
trap the error efficiently.
So, nothing can be done to prevent this, and you wouldn't want to!

Please
respond to
james-user
I have received a bulk of messages containing pathetic things with the
following information from James:
Delivery failure: javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;
nested exception is:
javax.mail.SendFailedException: 550 Requested action not taken: mailbox
unavailable
or
Delivery failure: javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP
host: mxpool01.netaddress.usa.net., port: 25;
nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
or
Delivery failure: javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;
nested exception is:
javax.mail.SendFailedException: 550 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... User unknown
WHAT CAN BE DONE TO PREVENT THIS ???
I think that, if James users are so much exposed to such misery, someone
ought to document the right way(s) to get rid of it !!!! Some kind of faq
maybe...
If someone tells me how to fix this kind of problems I'm ready to publish a
web page with information concerning james spam avoidance on my server !
Regards,
Candide
