Mark,

How did you configure James? If you didn't properly setup the
RemoteAddrNotInNetwork matcher, you could indeed be an open relay.

Apparently, ordb was able to send e-mail through your server, as logged by
http://ordb.org/lookup/?host=Imelshire.com.

Once your configuration is working properly, you can have ordb.org retest
your site (http://ordb.org/removal/).

I did just try to send e-mail through your server to myself, but so far I
have not received any. Check your logs and error/spam directories. Do you
see messages from me in there? You might also look for mail send to
ordb.org.

Subject: Open Relay

I'm a new james user, and i prematurely submitted my site to http://ordb.org
for what i thought was just testing to see if my mail server was an open
relay.

Not only did they report me as an Open Relay, but i've been added to some
sort of OpenRelay database.

I immediately checked the FAQs on James and found this link:
http://james.apache.org/FAQ.html#2

I understand that James will indeed block Open Relay types of Spam, but is
there a way for me to convince http://ordb.org that my mail server isn't an
OpenRelay with James?

Thanks,
