Hi Mark,

Reconfigure your James and ask them to run their spam again against your
IP. In about 1 day you will be removed from their database and receive a
report by email.

Their spam test consists in sending 3 mails to your James sent to an
address looking like *@*.ordb.org. If it is properly configured, they
should show up in your spam repository.

Regards,

Diego

Objet: Open Relay

I'm a new james user, and i prematurely submitted my site to
http://ordb.org for what i thought was just testing to see if my mail
server was an open relay.

Not only did they report me as an Open Relay, but i've been added to
some sort of OpenRelay database.

I immediately checked the FAQs on James and found this link:
http://james.apache.org/FAQ.html#2

I understand that James will indeed block Open Relay types of Spam, but
is there a way for me to convince http://ordb.org that my mail server
isn't an OpenRelay with James?

Thanks,
--mark imel
