i think that you were getting two errors before, which one is the error that
you are getting now? (i have a feeling it is the apxs error...keep reading).

apxs is written in perl. this has nothing to do with Apache JServ though.
so, if you want to use apxs, you need to install perl.

this is a 100% volunteer project. so, if you would like to see it improved,

although, so far, all the "problems" that I have seen you have have been
related to you using outdated /beta/ software or not having your system
setup corrrectly. so, i'm not quite sure what we can do for you other than
to point these things out for you.
