The first time I installed the apache/jserv/cocoon combo, I bashed my head terribly 
against the walls as well, until I
decided to drop that rpm idea and do install apache from source as well. And things 
just went alot easier.....

Looks like apache can be configured in 1 billion different ways and to get jserv
to install correctly you should exactly know how apache was configured.Which
is not as easy to tell from rpms.....
