Just to clear any doubt about the 2.2 zip files:
from the 'WinZip support' response:
"The particular report you sent is almost never reproducible
after a machine restart. Can you reproduce the problem
after restarting your machine?"
And indeed after restart the problem is gone; so this had
nothing to do with the 2.2 zip files.
