Hey guys, in my opinion it would make it easier if we could somehow iterate in
the flex branch under this issue.
Do we really need a monster patch right now that is 100% perfect or can we
exploit having this branch available to make discussions and review easier?
For example, it seems everyone agrees the current patch here is a good "step
forward".
