But the source code is also available for licensing (with fees). This
may mean that the Linux team gets access, depending on how exactly Sun
defines their relationship. Also, HotSpot is supposed to be free (beer)
in single-user quantities to developers.
Personally, I wouldn't mind paying for a Linux port of Hotspot.
