And reading between the lines, maybe Hotspot isn't that hot afterall.
The speedups they claim (2-4 times, presumably over a simple JIT?) are
nice, but not earth shattering. And the "long lived server" emphasis
on the web site suggests that the performance isn't so good for things
that don't run for a long time (like, say, most user applications).

I hope I'm wrong - the technology underlying Hotspot is very cool.
