Interesting questions that you raise. I for one have been
very happy with the work of the Blackdown team, the beta 1.2
has been rock solid for us. However, I too have asked myself
the same questions recently.
If only we could find a benefactor who would be willing to
bankroll the salaries of one or two of the Blackdown team
members to work on the project full-time. Or maybe get
enough people/businesses/institutes to donate some money
to fund this exercise. How much money would it take and how
many donations would be necessary?
