Well, you're free to think in this way but we had a lot of work on
this. The patched version would compile but not run. We started from
the 1.2.1 patches and fixed things until we passed the JCk clean.
Nobody denies the great work that you people have done, I hope you
read my other posts here and also on /.

No, for example, we found some problesm in Runtime().exec() with green
threads that caused a dramatic slowdown in some situations, in
particular trying to debug an application in JBuilder and used the
editor at the same time. Other problems were addressed by Sun for the
AWT/Motif side. We also did a lot of testing for International
support.
