glibc2.1 is required and SuSE Linux 6.4 ships 2.1.3:
+/jdk1.3 $ rpm -qf /lib/libc.so.6
shlibs-2.1.3-58
But it does not work:
+/jdk1.3 $ bin/java
Segmentation fault
last exitcode:139
strace is similar to the already posted one. I'm not a system-hacker,
sorry. I am also not from SuSE Labs, but I will try to contact them.
