Well it is not really SuSE's fault really. Smells like native (linux)
threads incompatibilities.
FWIW I tried IBMJava2-SDK1.3 on SuSE6.4 Dell Inspiron 7500 700MHz PIII
at midnight and it worked. I run the Java2Demo. Wooowww! What speed!
As good as 1.3rc1 on Windows NT 4.0. What smoothness!
Unfortunately my tarball was corrupted and I did get all the demos.
