so if we want to use an home-made rt.jar, can we use one based on rt.jar?
and if i've understood the problem of distributing, the blackdown Vm is not gnu?

It's clear that you can't distribute the modified rt.jar or sell a
product using the modified rt.jar (unless you have an agreement with
Sun).

As for using a modified rt.jar internally for development and testing:
I think that's OK but I'm no lawyer.  If you want to be on the safe
side, talk to your lawyer or ask Sun.
