[JAVA2D] How to display a JPG ?

Hi all.

I'm novice in Java programming, I'm trying now to
display a simple JPG image in a Panel.
I'm working  with the JDK1.1.6  for any
reasons.

Some expert can give any hints to do that easy ?
I'll be so grateful.
