Dear Folks,
I am planning to use a head mounted display device for my java 3D
applications.
I have lately purchased an i-Glass x2, that is 3D capable (using
stereoscopic display).
I am currently connecting it to my PC using a Computer to TV scan converter.
So what i am getting is an identical 2D copy of my computer screen.

I know this is not what's needed if i want to build a Virtual reality
application.

My question is:
Does java 3D support Stereoscopic display?
i.e. two images at one time(one image per eye)- giving a virtual feeling of
the third dimension.

And if yes,
can anybody point to me the classes used for this purpose?
And tell me what are the hardware requirements for such a setup?

I saw that this subject was superficially addressed in the past archives,
but none has really tackled the problem.

I would highly appreciate any information from somebody with previous
experience in Stereoscopic displays and java 3D.
If not, could anybody from Sun (Mr. Mark Hood if possible) tell us whether
of not Java3D supports Stereoscopic displays?

Thanks and regards,
Sincerely,
