the system i am running it consists of:
Intel PentiumII 600MHz / 256Mb
ATI Rage Video 16MB
Win NT SP 5
JDK 1.2.2
J3D 1.1.2 ( ?? whatever the latest OpenGL RELEASED version)
no other applications running in the background except
for Norton Anti-Virus
it use to work fine, until i deleted j3d and re-installed it.
the texture mapping aspect of my programs (including those from
the demo) did to properly render. it did not complian that it could
not find the file it just showed a white shape where the texture map
should be.
i utilized a response that i got from Ahmed Shakil (BTW thanks,
i didn't realize it was an RTFM problem :) )
and apparently there is a but known by sun and it is written
in the README file of j3d. it just is curious that it use to work
fine. i did not install any memory hogging applications and nothing
except system applications in the background.
