Shawn,

The course sounds great!  My thoughts are try to keep it focused on
Java3D with perhaps a 1/4 day intro to 3D graphics (math, etc) as a
maximum.  Use the remaining day and next day to jump into Java3D
and all of its aspects with the hands on coding and demos to support
it.  3D graphics knowledge should be required but you could write it off
by doing the 1/4 day introduction to 3D graphics.  I would say do a 2 day
training to cover as much material as you can.  You could extend this
as an option to include 3D modeling and more into depth on 3D sound,
textures, lighting, building models vi Shape3D vs a Modeler.  You should
have plenty to cover here.  Good idea.
