I think its a great idea to teach a short course on Java3d, but it will be
hard to find the
right material for everyone. Should it be an intro to 3d? Seems like a
college course
in graphics might be better for that, or for the motivated, reading a good
book on graphics.
I would think that professional graphics programmers would be the types
attending such a course,
so I think you could assume that people already know the math and some
basic 3d.
Go straight into the heart of what makes Java3d unique as a 3d api and
what are the big gotchas
when trying to write real applications (like games).
