I'm new to Java3D, so excuse questions about the obvious...

When I create multiple views of a scene (with approx 500 shapes), all but
the one of the Canvas3Ds  continuously flickers.  The flickering does not
occur with a single view.  It appears that the problem is not related to
mixing heavy and light weight components.  The flickering is dependent on
the order in which i add the Canvas3Ds to a frame.  I'm not sure if the
Canvas3D-Frame relationship is the cause or if that just triggers the
behavior.

Any ideas?  Is this symptomatic of any known problem or pitfall? I'm using
OpenGL on NT.
