Just a few hours ago, I wrote up a pretty detailed explanation that
tried to bring across my understanding of this topic. If you saw it
and it didn't help you, then ignore it and just try taking your current
Transform3D (that works on an origin-based axis) and calling its
setTranslation() method to offset the rotational axis from the origin.
