Well, the purchase of a laptop isn't going as smoothly as I thought it would.
I want a laptop on which I can run and develop Java 3D apps. I am told that most Laptop PC do not have a fully compliant OpenGL graphics chip.
So, as mentioned before, I thought I'd buy the new Toshiba Satellite 2805-S402 with the GeForce2Go chip in it.
But I can't seem to find any! Toshiba doesn't sell them direct and all the retail stores I go to say they don't have any, never did, and there is no date when they will have them.
This might be a good thing. I looked a little closer at the 2805-S402 spec and it come with a 800 x 600 (SVGA) 15" screen.
I don't consider that very good. I would like at least a 1024x800.
So, I am thinking of giving up on the Toshiba and looking something else.
Any thoughts?
