The computing world has been developing all sorts of formats
to enable computers to exchange text, images, sounds, movies,
3-D geometry, etc. Java is the format to enable one computer to
send programs to any other computer. Programs are the most
fundamental type of information on computers, so the ability
to exchange this kind of information is fundamental. However,
it also frees users from specific platforms and hence threatens
the M$ monopoly. They will do anything to make sure that
computers can't send programs to any other computer, and
C# and .NET are their latest attempts to kill Java.
