Anyone tried any 3D texture mapping with sucess?

I'm generating a single array of float[] for my texture coordinates and
things just seem to be coming out odd. I've tried digging around the
examples and code links shown online but can't find anything specifying
the texture coordinate order for a flat array. Are we supposed to pass
it as r,s,t triplets or s,t,r triplets to this call?

For reference this is the D3D version of Java 3D 1.2.1 on a crappy
notebook video card (ATI Rage 128 M3).
