hi all,
yesterday i have installed Linux on a second partition for testing my Java3D
apps on peformance and bugs, which results in a big surprise for me:

1. performance:
got ~100.0fps on Linux (~80.0fps on Win2k) with my terrain-demo

2. bugs/differences
i noticed a big difference with the KeyboardBehavior:
- on win2k holding the UP-Button leads in continious forward movement
- on Linux holding the UP-Button moves me only bit forward, then i had tor
elease it and oush it again...

so i wonder if anyone has equal or different results in perforamce testing -
because i heard that linux is far slower...
and of course: if the 2.point is a kown bug, please tell me...

greetings
Michael Nischt
