Yes, seems to be some lensflare stuff. I had the idea to easily use a
.gif-file of a sun (looks great, like in OpenUniverse) and put it at
(0,0,0). The only two problems then would be:
1. make the black parts of the gif transparent, so that objects behind the
sun do not cross a black rectangle
2. make the sun-image always "face" the camera (I do not want a flat image
from the side when the viewing-platform rotates)
does that give you some ideas?
