Hi,

(I've posted this on comp.lang.java.3d; Hopefully, you
don't mind the crosspost.)

Can someone please outline the steps necessary to
setup and control the
projection. I've tried something naive:

        trnsfm.projection(Math.PI/2, 1.0, 0.1, 10.0);
        viewer.setCompat...(true);
        view.setProejction(trnsfm);

and most of my objects dissappeared (for instance, I
had polyhedra with filled-in faces but also with wired
frames and the filled in faces dissappeared while the
wired frame remained)

The tutorials and the API's that I've read talk about
the Virtual World vs the Physical World, etc. And I
don't even understand why the physical world matters.
What I want to set up is a (virtual, if you will)
object sitting motionless and a camera flying around
it. I'm coming from OpenGL and I don't would like not
to deal with the VW vs PW duality if I can.

If someone could explain to me what I'm doing wrong or
tell me about the steps that I might be missing or
point to a good source I would be very greatful!

Thank you in advance!

Dola
