Perhaps Sun would clarify any and all issues regarding licensing costs and
if such issues are delaying Java3D on the Macintosh.

Also, their cooperation with Apple in detail.

Telling developers to needle Apple is fine and nice. However, we would
appreciate in detail a political discussion on Sun's part. Even a
sanitized report would help.

Note: Every time I see an Apple programmer or rep I ask about Java3D,
Gamming, Matlab and a few pet peaves. I'm sort of assuming that everyone on
this list with a Mac is also needling their Apple developer buddies in
person at some point. If they are ignoring my comments and comments of
others why are they doing it? Steve Jobs philosophy towards 3-D and
gamming? Politics? Competition between Sun and Apple? G4 hardware or
support for 3-D standards?

Of course, they may have my valuable comments percolating slowly up their
to-do list as I write this email......:)
