David, Nice machine. I've been running Java 3D on my Windows 2000 Pro machine for coming up to a year (Athalon 900 MHz, 512 MB, Geforce II Ultra, SB Live) with very good results. I've also played a few games (Deus Ex, for example) with very few problems.
Go spend that extra cash! Just don't require that config for *your* games... ;-) Sincerely, Daniel Selman -----Original Message----- From: Discussion list for Java 3D API [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Yazel, David J. I was wondering if people have any experience with this and could offer suggestions. Linux is not an option, although I will be putting it on my current system as a test box. The pertinent stats are: 2 GHz Pentium 4 1 GB memory 64 MB DDR Geforce III w/ DVI Sound Blaster Live With that much memory I have to go with either Window's 2000, Window's XP or Windows Xp Professional. Does anyone have Java3d working well under those operating systems? Does anyone have recently released games working on this configuration at all? Any basic advice?
