Hello Justin,
Sorry to discuss again on this subject but at this time I have to use j3d 1.2.(arghh)
So I looked the view frustrum class in j3d.org and I don't understand what the getInverseVworldProjection method do in
" canvases[canvasId].getInverseVworldProjection(leftInverseProjection,
rightInverseProjection);"
and why it is hard to compute it by myself ?

No, because 1.2 has no way of fetching the view projection matrix, which
is essential to the functionality of the frustum.
