Struggled with this too ;) For development, put them in your JRE /lib folder, for runtime, in the /lib of the Java run time install. For distribution I put them into a /lib folder under the application directory, then set the classpath in the command line to include it specifically like:
javac -cp "./lib/myJarFile.jar"; If there's a better way I'd love to hear it...
