Lavasoft's Ad-Aware app is good for ripping spyware off of your system. Since I did that, I no longer get those wild scrolling banner ads.
My biggest problem is CODE-RED. My system is hit daily by people who I'm sure have no idea it's on their system. The other day I scanned my http server log and had over 8000 unique IPs infected with code-red that had hit my webserver. It's no wonder my partition fills up now and then.
