If the grid of vertexes is regular (x point by y points of constant
separation), Delaunay triangulation would not be needed, and is 1000x less
efficient than a regular grid triangulator that I have.

So i presume something must be wrong with the implementation.

Is it possible for your data to have two values at one (x,y) point? This
would not qualify as a convex hull, and Delaunay would complain or break
(depending on implementation) when it finds two points too cose together.

As me any questions about Delaunay if you like, dont see any harm in doing
it on list either - someone else may have the same queries and quandries
sooner or later.

Ta,

I hoped I would find my answers on that list...too bad...
Do you have an updated version of the ROAM method in the source code from
j3d.org? V0.6 is quite old..
I tried your code but ran into problems because I have lots of holes (NaN
values) in my grid. The grid is also not regular like yours (it is regular
(not in real coordinates). For each y the real (physical) distance ((y+1)-y)
varies). (For each x,y,z coordinate there is a Point3d containing the real
world coordinates).

Err... Didn't realise people could still subscribe. I thought I'd shut
it down because no-one was making use of it. Hmmm.. time to check the
configs again....
