Is there an archive of the messages from this list that I can review?

  I was hoping there would be a simpler (or at least more direct) way of
implementing a fish-eye view without rendering to a buffer, doing the
transformation, and then display the image on each update cycle.  I was
hoping to push the computation for the transformation and display into the
hardware accelerator.
