Thanks for the example ;-) But its not solving the problem at all. if i pass a filereader to the load() method it works fine, but only because the reader only includes the files path and not the file itself. what i'm trying to do is pass the file as a reader which actually includes the file. i want to get the data directly from that stream. thanks, chris
