I feel Sun is making a silly move and only hope that if this really is the end that they make Java3D open source so that all our work and effort is not wasted, and so Sun see's what they could have made the API. Maybe I'm just a bit upset we seem to have been left out of the loop, maybe it's all for nothing and a layer will appear to render the Java3D scene graph via JOGL - http://weblogs.java.net/pub/wlg/279 - I sure hope so, or that their is at least the possibility to do so as I like the environment, have a heap of time invested in it and will continue to use it.
