I recently picked up these two books:

Thus far I can't say that I find one better then the other. While
recently looking through both to answer a question, the second book
(listed) answered my question, but the first gave me code examples once I
knew what to look for.
Ultimately, a friend told me how to what I wanted in a much better
way, in plainer English. :)
