At http://www.3dchat.org/dev.php you can find an other source package. The
KeyNavigator
(
http://www.3dchat.org/doc/com/vwp/j3d/utils/behaviors/keyboard/KeyNavigatorBehavior.html
) implements collision avoidance and terrain following. This class
alsocontains a little bit more but possibly it can help you.

ok, another thread about this stuff...

Here's my problem...I read everything I found on the subject and I found
the
tutorials on j3d.org to be the most useful ones for me...

So now I understand how to implement the collision avoidance and terrain
following, but I just don't have that J3D knowledge.

I looked at the J3D FlyThru source and I didn't udnerstand much of
it...then
I downloaded the source from the code repository on j3d.org and I found
the
soruce for qcollide and other classes. But they are so advanced, I have
no
chance of implementing that on my own. It doesn't seem as easy as I
thought
from the begining when I read the tutorials on j3d.org.

So what I'm wondering if there is anyone who has a classs or maybe a
little
tutorial where you can implement these things step by step so newbies
like
me can understand them =)
I have no idea how to write the code for collision avoidance myself and I
don't even understand how to use the qcollide classes.

Thank you very much for any help.
Flavius
