                Hm, don't think thats true. Sun makes things OpenSource
which seem to be
                dead (e.g. JSDT).

                In this case, the license will not be *really* free. Still
only Sun will
                be able to create truely new versions of Java3D. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
are working
                on Java3D now.

                Of course, there are no guarantees currently....
