Those were different posts, some time later. J3d has hung in the balance for a while, 
and understandably so- how has it's existence really benefited sun? They are in 
business to make a profit, rather than to make us developers happy.

My view would be that the guys who run j3d.org are pretty busy on other projects and 
haven't really had time to update the site in a while. Given that java3d has been 
effectively on hold for so long, there hasn't been a whole world of news to put there 
for a while. I can't see how anyone benefits from damaging the reputation of java3d 
now and who could do any more damage than sun with their policy of silence on the 
whole matter?

And also if somebody would have posted that J3D was discontinued - now we
know that it isn't true - so why can this disinformation already be read
on that webpage? In my opinion there somebody tries to damage the
reputation of J3D.
