 no problem.. it depends what level of detail you are aiming for.. i guess
its really posibble to
get down to crystaline structure and lattice creation, depends what
materials and stuff you are aiming for.  i mean like you could actualy make
a height field ,rap it around a cylinder . and maybe drag that
along with a mouse. adding vertices as you go along. who knows ..we are all
in this together.good luck anyway.
